As you may be aware, why most people create shortcuts regularly on their computer is for quicker access to a folder, file or whatever they intend to creat it for. There are two types of shortcuts that you can create in windows Pc. On shortcut is a link created and placed anywhere on your PC. So we are now going to discourse How To Create Shortcuts in details.
This first type is mainly placed where one can see it quicker mostly on desktops. To create this type of shortcut, you simply following these easy steps: Right click on the desktop and select -New – Shortcut. This will create a shortcut link on your desktop. Then browsing through the next window that will pop up, to get to the file or program that you want to create a shortcut link on the desktop for.
After selecting the object for the shortcut you click finish and that's it. A link will be created on your desktop instantly. so whenever you click on that link, it will open the file at any time, just as it would open from the original folder where it was before.
Another simple way of creating this type of shortcut is to navigate or browse to the file or program on the computer and then Right-Click and select 'Create Shortcut'. The system will always warn you that the shortcut will be placed on the desktop for the particular object. Clicking OK will accomplish the task just like the first example above.
The other type of shortcut mentioned before is mainly for more experienced computer users. So you must have to master your Beginners Computer Basic Training Skills first before thinking of learning the ins-and-outs of this one. Some shortcuts can be created with the help of the windows keyboard. Presetting a set of control + Alt + (Key) will start up a program without you having to navigate to where the program is stored to get it up and running. This type of shortcuts can help professional computer users to work faster on there computer.
